This month, Comcast helped hundreds of people in Seattle find out. Comcast presented the Opening Day of the “Do You Know Bruce?” exhibit at the Wing Luke Museum of the Asian Pacific American Experience in Seattle’s International District (ID). It was a highly anticipated showcase of the legendary Bruce Lee, who called Seattle’s “ID” his home as a young man. In fact, across the street from the museum is where Bruce Lee opened his first martial arts studio, teaching his new form, Jeet Kune Do. Bruce Lee’s widow, Linda Lee Caldwell, and daughter Shannon, were also in attendance. Shannon Lee expressed gratitude for the community’s embrace of her father and what he continues to mean to so many today.

Diem Ly, External Affairs Manager for Comcast, made remarks at the event, explaining why Comcast is supporting the exhibit: “Comcast has supported this neighborhood and the Asian Pacific American community for years. We believe in and support the work of its many nonprofits. And second, we understand that when you honor one trailblazer–like Bruce Lee, like Wing Luke –you light a path for more to come.”
