Vandalism Causes Comcast Service Interruption in Maple Valley

November 1, 2024; 1:00 p.m. UPDATE Some Xfinity and Comcast Business customers in Maple Valley continue to experience an interruption to their services, which began this morning when a Comcast cable line was damaged by vandalism.

Our dedicated network maintenance crews are working to replace the damaged lines, and service restoration is expected by 5 p.m. today. Reconnecting your service is our top priority. Thank you for your patience and for being our customer.

November 1, 2024; 8:00 a.m. Some Xfinity and Comcast Business customers in Maple Valley are experiencing an interruption to their services, which began this morning when a Comcast cable line was damaged from vandalism.

Our dedicated network maintenance crews are onsite and have determined that repairs will require additional safety measures to access the damaged cable. Once our technicians have safe access, they will replace the damaged lines and restore service as soon are possible, which is our top priority.

When vandals intentionally cut cables, they cause network service outages, and we need your help. If you see something suspicious, please report it to your local law enforcement agency.
