Seattle was one of seven cities where CNBC’S “The Profit” made a stop to celebrate Small Business Week in association with Comcast Business. Here is a 4-minute video shaped from the seven networking sessions and panels.
There are some great quotes from locals in the video that we wanted to call out for what they had to say about the small business journey. In order of appearance:
“It really is about believing in yourself, first and foremost, no matter what other people are trying to tell you.” ~ Mark Briggs, KING-TV. He later went on to say:
“You have to keep up with the times. And that means, digital media. And where the audience is going next.”
“It’s all through technology that we really can take small business to the next level.” ~ Dani Cone, Fuel Coffee. She went on to say:
“Small businesses are essential for Seattle. That really gives it the life, the character, and who’s here. And all of these things are filled in by small business.”
“Whether you’ve got your website, or an app, or social, every company is a tech company.” ~ Daniel Rossi, Geekwire.

While the events occurred around the country, what they all had in common was panel discussions with members of the local business community, networking forums, and casting opportunities for prospective candidates to apply for a chance to be on CNBC’s “The Profit.”
On “The Profit,” serial entrepreneur and investor Marcus Lemonis puts his own money on the line to help save and grow struggling small businesses across the country. The new season of “The Profit” premiered this month on CNBC.
Why Comcast Business as a host? Comcast Business offers advanced communication solutions to help companies of all sizes be more productive.
