“This transformation represents more than just new equipment—it’s a commitment to empowering the next generation with the tools and opportunities they need to succeed,” said Emily Nakada-Alm, community and corporate partnership manager, Boys & Girls Clubs.

“At Comcast, we believe every young person deserves access to the technology and resources that fuel creativity, learning and future success,” said Carla Carrell, senior director external affairs, Comcast. “Our partnership with the Boys & Girls Clubs of South Puget Sound (BGCSPS) is about more than connectivity—it’s about investing in the local youth and broader community, working to provide digital opportunities, and ensuring everyone can benefit from being connected to the internet.

The Bremerton Lift Zone is one of several Comcast operates with the Boys & Girls Clubs in Washington and continues a long-term partnership between Comcast and the organization.

Since 1940, BGCSPS has provided youth (ages 6-18) safe spaces, warm meals, caring mentors, and meaningful programs that help them reach their full potential. BGCSPS operates ten Clubs across Pierce, Kitsap, and Mason counties for children and teens to learn, create, and attain their best in academics, athletics, and more. BGCSPS also operates a variety of licensed childcare and extended learning opportunities at local schools.
