Over the course of two days, more than 100 Comcast employee, families, and community members came together to volunteer at El Centro de la Raza in Federal Way to rake, paint, organize, and dance the day away. The effort was part of Comcast’s Project UP, the organization’s $1 billion initiative to connect people to the internet, create digital opportunity, and build a future of unlimited possibilities, Spring Into Service, a collection of several volunteer efforts throughout the Pacific Northwest with Comcast employees taking place in April, and Comcast’s Team UP employee volunteer initiative.

Comcast volunteers rolled up their sleeves and helped in several ways including painting, cleaning, organizing, and repairing all around El Centro’s Federal Way campus. It also included plenty of fun as volunteers took part in games and roller skating at the location’s roller rink.

The event was more than just a few days of hard work; it enables El Centro to continue their impactful efforts without the burden of additional tasks. Comcast is deeply grateful for their partnership and the opportunity to support their mission.
