Several Comcast volunteers rolled up their sleeves and upgraded the technology at Lacey Veterans Services Hub earlier in November, installing technology equipment in several offices in the organization’s facility, which is a Comcast Lift Zone. The new technology equipment will help organization continue their mission to provide assistance to all Veterans, Active Military, National Guard, Reserves, and their families in Thurston County, and was part of our celebration of National Veterans and Military Families Month.
The new personal computers and printers installed in private offices and the Lift Zone provide veterans a safe and secure place to access high speed internet and attend telehealth appointments in private space. The efforts and partnerships continue Comcast’s dedication to supporting veterans nationally and in Washington.
The Lacey Veterans Services Hub Lift Zone is one of several Lift Zones in the state at veterans’ community organizations. Comcast also has Lift Zones in the state with Paralyzed Veterans of America and at Joint Base Lewis-McChord.
