Xfinity Opens Interactive Retail Stores in Seattle and Kent

The new Seattle Xfinity retail location in Ballard.

We know what you’re thinking – a new Comcast Xfinity store. Long waits? DMV-like lines? Poor lighting and plexiglass windows? Well… if you’re thinking that way you have not seen our new retail environment.

The latest stores just opened in Seattle’s Ballard neighborhood and Kent, are a part of a new era of customer-focused retail for us in Washington state. We are bringing more stores to you in areas where customers didn’t have a convenient location to pay a bill, ask questions about your service, swap out your old equipment for the newest technology, or learn more about our more customer-friendly products and services.

Over the last several years we dived head-first into creating a brand new type of retail store to give customers a place to experience everything Xfinity has to offer. These new stores include a modern design that allows customers to test out all of our Xfinity technology, including Xfinity Mobile, Xfinity X1 TV, Xfinity Home, and Xfinity Internet – including our new, free streaming service device FLEX.

For local businesses interested in utilizing the latest in internet and technology solutions, our stores also have a dedicated space for Comcast Business where they can discuss their business technology needs with an expert in real-time.

So what’s the verdict on the new locations? You can read about them in these news stories from MyBallard.com and The Kent Reporter featuring all the details. Or, you can visit one of these new locations and tell us what you think!

In addition to the retail goods sold at the store, they’ll also have staff dedicated to handling all Comcast Business customer needs. Primarily, it looks like another mobile phone store, but with a special section of the store dedicated to their X1 television, which is their live streaming/DVR/music voice-activated TV.
