We know that XFINITY services are very important to the lives of our customers. We’re eagerly working to restore services this morning to several neighborhoods south, east and west of Panther Lake in Federal Way.
The incident was caused by someone with bolt cutters vandalizing equipment in Federal Way. It’s possible, though we don’t know for sure, that the person was looking for copper wiring to steal. However, as soon as they cut and saw fiber optic cable, the person(s) apparently left.
We know customers rely on Internet, video, and other services throughout their day. As splicers work to reconnect the individual fiber optic strands this morning, we’re working to restore these neighborhoods as quickly as we can. We appreciate the patience of our customers.
