The Xfinity TV app from Comcast, which has been downloaded more than 2 million times since it launched last November, now enables its digital subscribers to stream thousands of hours of On Demand video on the iPhone® and iPod Touch®, as well as the iPad®, while on-the-go and inside the home. Customers now have access to nearly 6,000 hours of top shows and movies from which to choose among 25 content partners.
They currently include:
Programming:
· All content that is available on HBO GO – including every episode of every season from The Sopranos, Sex and the City, Entourage, Game of Thrones, Boardwalk Empire and True Blood.
· Current SHOWTIME series including The Borgias, Nurse Jackie, and The United States of Tara.
· Personalities including CNN’s Piers Morgan, TBS’ Lopez Tonight, and HLN’s The Joy Behar Show.
· Hit movies including The Hurt Locker, Get Him to the Greek and Salt; classic comedies including Toy Story 3, Caddyshack and Stripes; and many others including Prince of Tides, The Natural and Charlie’s Angels.
