Vandalism Causes Comcast Service Interruption in Bellevue

November 10, 2024; 1:45 p.m. UPDATE — All services have been restored.

November 10, 2024; 8:00 a.m. Some Xfinity and Comcast Business customers in Bellevue and New Castle are experiencing an interruption to their services, which began this morning when a Comcast cable line was damaged from vandalism.

Our dedicated network maintenance crews are onsite and have determined that repairs require additional safety measures to access the damaged cable. Once our technicians have safe access, they will replace the damaged lines and restore service as soon as possible, which is our top priority.

When vandals intentionally cut cables, they cause network service outages, and we need your help. If you see something suspicious, please report it to your local law enforcement agency.

We understand that time without service can be frustrating, and we appreciate our customers’ patience. When such events happen, please know you can always check for outages or fix common service issues at xfinity.com/status or the Xfinity app. Comcast Business customers may contact Service Status Center | Comcast Business.

Thank you for your understanding and being our customer.
