QFC joined Comcast Washington, the Seattle Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce, and Business Health Trust in hosting an equitable community vaccination site in Everett. Located at a Comcast office in Everett, the clinic brought vaccine appointments to eligible individuals, providing first and second doses of the Pfizer vaccine over the last month.
This site focused on encouraging senior citizens and other vulnerable groups to get vaccinated prior to the statewide opening to the general 16+ age group population, which potentially made it harder for the earlier, most vulnerable populations to get their vaccine if they had not received one.
This was the first vaccine clinic held at a Comcast building across the nation, and we were happy to provided internet resources and other support to help with this important project.
