We’ve been trying to figure out how to share some really nice blog posts about the Seattle Fashion Week Comcast Student Fashion Designer Competition, and there’s getting to be so many we figured we better start a list.

Since just a few of us in the massive Comcast communications team are no longer students, and we’re definitely not fashionable, the first some of us heard of this year’s competition was a great blog by a previous winner. We loved this post by Becky Sullivan as it captures the genuine excitement of someone blooming into a profession. The winner of the competition gets a cash award and a chance to show their work at the Seattle Fashion Week itself.

Since the competition earlier this week, there have been several Tweets and posts and such about the show. If you know of others, pass them along and we’ll add the links.

  • Becky Sullivan’s followup post about judging the show.
  • Here are a lot of pictures by Ray, aka @Fashionwrites (many of today’s young people are way too hip to have last names! get over it!) We’re hoping Ray doesn’t mind us borrowing a picture for this page.
  • And as if that’s not enough, here are more great pictures by @visualnoisetype (many of today’s young people are way to hip to even have names! get over it! But we know the great pictures on that page were taken by Georgia Esporlas )
  • And, we quickly add, here’s the official followup post by Seattle Fashion Week. Our congratulations to winner Anna Dicklhuber!
