Comcast recently produced a PSA with Washington Governor Jay Inslee and Darrington Mayor Dan Rankin to help with tourism and economic development in the Arling, Darrington and Oso areas of Stilly Valley.
The tragic mudslide occurred this spring killing 42 people and destroying 49 homes; Darrington was completely cut-off by the slide. Along with production assistance for PSAs, Comcast has supported the community through donations and provided fast internet services to relief facilities in Snohomish County. Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with those communities, and we appreciated the invitation from the governor’s office to be part of this PSA.
