Comcast Digital Connectors program graduates Federal Way teens

[youtube=http://youtu.be/mcctEolJ3fM] The video above shows highlights from the Comcast Digital Connectors graduation this month at the Boys and Girls Clubs branch in Federal Way. Students said they had a great time all year learning about technology and making new friends.

You’ll hear remarks from students as well as Mark Hendricks, director of the Federal Way club, and Terry Davis, a Comcast executive based in Auburn. We’re especially grateful to Federal Way Mayor Skip Priest for taking time in what turned out to be a very hectic day to personally congratulate the youth.

Of all the places we’ve had Digital Connectors graduations, Federal Way is the first where a mayor has come to personally spend time with teens. That says a lot about Federal Way, and it says a lot about Skip Priest.

Below you’ll see a photo of the youth taken outside their tech lab at the EX3 Ron Sandwith Teen Center. They took two pictures as a class: a serious picture, and then the one below. You can tell how much fun these youth had learning the tech of the future and enjoying each other’s company.
