Comcast Executives Volunteer for Mary’s Place in Seattle

Comcast in Washington’s senior leaders recently got together to give back to a neighborhood organization, Mary’s Place.

In early November, senior leaders at Comcast met for a half day to plan out customer experience initiatives for customers. Then for the afternoon, they ditched the dresses and slacks for jeans, tennis shoes and t-shirts. With sleeves rolled up, they got to work creating children’s wooden growth charts, welcome home packets, picnic tables and benches.

These items were specific requests of a neighbor of our North Seattle Xfinity Store, Mary’s Place—an organization that serves homeless women, children and families.
At the end of the day, the projects along with donations the team brought were loaded into Xfinity trucks,. piled onto rolling carts and walked across the street to the shelter.

Mary’s Place is always accepting donations including women’s, children’s and men’s clothing. For more information on how you can help visit www.marysplaceseattle.org .
