Comcast Invests in Washington: Woodinville, Washington

Woodinville Washington

The first in a series of posts about Comcast’s investment infrastructure to bring customers faster, more reliable service.

Comcast Business crews have been busy extending our network to locations throughout Washington, and particularly Woodinville. We made a video celebrating these accomplishments, which you can see above.

While these investments have been going on for years, we kicked off recent work with a major extension of plant to nearly 100 businesses in the 150th – 170th block of Woodinville/Redmond Road. You can read the news release by clicking here.

Comcast Business invested more than $100,000 to bring fiber and coaxial cable to businesses that range from construction and manufacturing firms to fitness centers and wineries. These businesses thus have access to high-performance Ethernet service of up to 10 Gigabits-per-second (Gbps), in addition to the Comcast Business services already available there, including WiFi, TV and advanced voice services.

Since then, Comcast has been busy in Woodinville with projects that, as the video says, add up to more than half a million dollars of work. Here are some other places where we’ve extended our Business network:

  • 144th: This brought services to more than 70 business ranging from retai,  industrial and warehouse to wine-related businesses.
  • 87th Ave SE: This brought services to more than 30 businesses
